Can't publish photos

Hi

I know this will have been covered already but couldn't find anything. I'm
having trouble publishing my website having added some new photos. I get a
'Server error: Write error on xxxxxxxxxx.jpg.tmp'.

I suspect it's got something to do with temporary files or cache but can't
seem to find/clear them.

Cheers
Neil

try this;
open your live site (file/ open site, type in the http:// address and log
in).
once the site opens live hit tools/ site settings (advanced tab) clear
temporary files.
close the live site and reattempt your publish.

HTH

That error sometimes indicates your account is out of space on the host
server.

Chris

Thanks for the reply. I have IE7.0 so tried Tools\Internet Options then
Advanced Tab then hit Reset at the bottom to reset all IE settings & delete
temp files.
Restarted IE and tried to re-publish but got same result - any ideas ?

Cheers
Neil

Hi Chris

Apologies - tried it by opening the site within Frontpage then deleting temp
files but no luck. Also tried second time and restarted machine without a
result.

Don't know ehere it hides these files as have searched for hidden JPG.TMP
but found none.

Any suggestions ?

Cheers
Neil

The error comes from the server, and usually indicates a lack of space
to store the images. Check with your host - it may be your account is
full, or the hard disc your website is on has filled.
The actual filename reported usually starts with a dot
..xxxxxxxxxx.jpg.tmp so the file would be hidden on Unix systems.
