Everyone uses a free site at www.tripod.com to test their FP and the
Extensions

Are you saying you cannot publish the symbol "%" to your website?

Not necessarily.
If you have IIS and extensions on your machine you can test an extended web in IIS.

Steve. Do you use a free site at Tripod to test your FP and extensions?
I know that I don't, so therefore, how could *Everyone* use it? ;-)

I thought a Tripod is one of those things that holds a camera, or a surveyors transit.

I don't, I just create a subweb on one of my existing servers. What would you really be testing on different server anywah?

That you are able to connect to a FP enabled web site and that problem is not with your local
install of the FP application, but with the "other" host's server configuration, where you can't
connect.

i tend to follow a simplier logic...if it works on the subweb of my server I gonna put it on...then proceed no further. :-)
