I am using Frontpage 2000. When I go to publish it pulls up the files and
folders on both my system and my host the way it should. When I tell it to
continue it looks like it's reading files from the web server and proceeds on
for about 3 minutes. Then I get the following message:

The URL '_vti_cnf' has more than 32 directories.

At this point all I can do is cancel. My website is not updated. Any ideas?

Open your remote web in FrontPage and then Recalculate hyperlinks.

Close the remote and open your local web and recalculate hyperlinks.

Then try publishing.
