Can't Publish Changes FP2003

's Computer Specifications

I have had my website for 8 months and now all of a sudden I can't publish
changes. After clicking Publish, the Status at the bottom shows "Opening
Website http:///www....and it just stays there stuck. I have contacted web
server and they have reinstalled extensions, but still nothing.

Is the third '/' (forward-slash) below deliberate or a typo? That might
account for the error.
