I have a windows XP Pro server, sharing a ricoh printer/fax/scanner. I
can print from any machine on the network, but printing from the
actual server, it fails to print. I have no idea where to start
looking to solve this problem. Has anyone experienced a similar thing?

First thing: XP Pro is not an official version that is a server grade
version of Windows.

Check for all /ant firewall settings and anti-virus Internet worm
module settings. You need to add an exception rule for LAN IP
addresses (192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.254) and File / Printer sharing.
