can't preview attachments "blocked for my security???" solution?

certain attachment file formats are blocked for my security. vista appart of
being tidious and to demanding and time consuming, is controlling and puting
barriers on e-mails send by accepted previously by me e-mail addresses. shame
and no solution shows through.

Probably not the fault of Vista. More likely the 5-year old e-mail
security update that got added to Outlook; see:

I use the Attachment Options add-on to let me configure which filetypes
are allowed. Easier than doing the registry hack.
