I've just bought empire earth II and cossacks II, when i try to type in the
key codes for these games they are rejected as incorrect. Both games are
genuine, purchased from a reputable retailer so i don't think the games are
faulty could it be my pc. Can anyone help.

Sometimes a zero looks like a capital o - or vice versa. Try different
combinations.

I've tried that, but one of the games hasn't got any letters or numbers that
can be confused.

Hi Ianunderthestairs,

Try installing those games on another PC before continuing
troubleshooting or making configuration changes on your
own PC. It's a sound process of elimination method. ;-)

Hi Adarsh,

I'll answer your question as best I can with the following points:

1. The person you're refering to is a private individual just like you.

2. What you're seeing at the bottom of their post is automatically
put their by the Antivirus software to declare the post virus free.

3. Typically Antivirus companies don't promote in gaming newsgroups.

Hope that answered your questions! :-)

Hi Jimmy,

thanks for letting the guy know. I have activated this feature in my
avast for both outgoing and incoming messages. Reason: if people get my
mail they can rest assured that nothing malicious is attached.
