All of a sudden, out of the blue, WMP won't play any MPEGs. It plays all
other files. The screen just stays black and it says playing at the bottom
but nothing is happening. The slider bar doesn't even move. I also noticed
that the same thing is happening in Real Player also. So I don't know if the
settings in WMP or in Windows XP. Any ideas?

Thanks
Chris

I have downloaded and run the Windows XP Video Decoder Checkup Utility. It
shows there are 2 Mpeg-2 decoders on my computer, Ligos Mpeg Video Decoder
and Intervideo Video Decoder and it says both are not compatible with the
synchronization feature in WMP10. Does this make a difference?
Thanks

Chris
