Can't play midi's

's Computer Specifications

I can play CD's and I can play wav. files but no midi's. What is wrong and
can anyone help?

's Computer Specifications

I found the problem after fooling around with it all morning, The
installation of PS2 had set the default for audio on some weird MPU 401
instead of MS GS Wavetable SW Synth. I am posting the solution of the
problem here in case someone else might have the same problem.
