Can't Play DVDs

I upgraded my computer recently, as it was getting kind of old and slow. See
components list below if needed. After the upgrade, I re-installed XP with
SP3. I am also running all the latest updates, firmware, drivers, BIOS,
etc... Now I can't watch DVDs. I have a Plextor DVD Burner which came with
Roxio DVD player so that I can decode the DVD format. I usually only install
Roxio for the Codecs, and then use Windows Media Player to play my DVDs. But
after installing Roxio and trying to play a DVD (using any program) I get an
error code saying "The instruction at '0x7c910efe' referenced memory at
'0x736f7263'. The memory could not be 'read'."

I've also had 0x7c9108d3 at 0x736f7263 could not be written.

I have run a system repair, updated everything, uninstalled and reinstalled
Roxio. Tried other programs such as quick time and windows media player.
Nothing works.

Core i7 920
EVGA Mother Board
OCZ 6GB Triple Channel RAM
Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB HDD
Plextor DVD Burner

Please Help,
Thanks
