I've just reinstalled my system and all appears top be ok.
I only have one problem and that'a with Media Player 11.
I can't play dvd's or Avi's, media player says it's missing the codecs.
Uninstalling and reinstalling MediaPlayer 11 makes no difference.
Question:
Are the required codecs installed from my Windows XP installation disk or
are the codecs installed with media player 11? How do I get Media Player 11
to work properly?

M

They don't come with XP.
Go to,
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...EG_2_Codec.htm
Get stinky's Mpeg 2 codec and you probably will need the divx/xvid codecs to
play the AVI Files.
