Can't pick a mailing group when scheduling a meeting

Using Office 2003 and outlook 2003 on Dell D600 with XP
and I can't pick a mailing group when scheduling a
meeting. Outlook just shuts down!!

Any suggestions? I have checked the support site and also
checked for updates.
