Hi!

I'm using Outlook 2007 and Vista. I have no Addins installed.

After I've installed Outlook for the first time, it worked as it should. I
then configured my mail account (IMAP), and Outlooked started to download the
headers (approx 500). When reaching 64% nothing more happened, and I killed
the process after 35minutes without any change.

Then I tried to restart Outlook, but an error occured ("MSVCR80.dll ... is
missing.."). I didn't know what to do, so I opened the Office Setup and chose
"Repair office". After the repairing and a final reboot, Outlook started
again without that strange error box. It then worked fine.
The next time I turned on the computer, Outlook stucked again at 64%, but
then finished the process after a while. But instead of working, the
application froze again after a few seconds. When I then tried to restart it,
the same error (msvcr80.dll) as before happened. Everytime I repaired or
reinstalled Outlook/Office, the same happened. I couldn get Outlook to work.

All Updates are installed.

Do you know what I can try to get Outlook to work properly?

Thank you so much!

Willi
