When I boot with XP Home Edition CD in a clean install to partition & format
my hard drive I can get as far as the Home Edition Setup window showing list
of partitioned and unpartitioned space on the computer. It has selected on
the list ..... Unpartitioned space - 156328 MB. After entering C ( To
create a partition enter C) Then it goes to the screen -- to create the new
partition, enter a size below and press Enter. After I enter a size and
Enter to create.......... it takes me back to the previous screen. I have
a Maxtor Diamond160G hard drive, and have tried using the diskettes from
their website to boot from. That eventually takes me to a C: prompt (after
entering information to partition/format.) without formating and "Thanks for
using Maxblast3" Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?!!
