Computer locks up when trying to open Windows 2000. All other programs on computer work. Have been using this Windows program/computer for a few years but problem just surfaced. Need ideas for troubleshooting/correcting problem. Please reply to (E-Mail Removed). Thanks.

What do you mean??? The computer lock up when trying to "open" Windows
2000 yet all your other programs work. Now unless thing have change in
the last little while, it used to be that you had to "open" (read start)
Windows 2000 before you could open other programs... Do you mean
something like Office 2000 locks the computer? Or what?
