I'm running XP SP2 with IE 6 and can't open a second concurrent browser
session. When I try, the first window closes leaving only the recently
opened window available. What can I do to allow multiple browser windows to
stay open?

Have you tried this?
Tools-Internet Options-Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"

Hi,
The Yahoo toolbar can cause this problem. Disabling the pop-up blocker will
probably not stop this behavior. Uninstall the Yahoo toolbar from Control
Panel> Add or remove programs.

Hope this helps,
Don
