i have IE v6sp1 and using acrobat reader v6.0.0 on a
windows XP sp1 machine.

when i click on a link to a pdf, the pdf will not open i
get the following message: "there was an error opening
this document. the file could not be found"

i can open the file by saving it first but not from
directly clicking on the link

thanks!

Hi, I used to have the exact same problem and got help
from a friend.
Go to Adobe's web site and fetch the latest reader and
the problem will disappear ... ;-)
