Having re-installed Office 2000(Outlook 2000) I now find I am unable to open
new unread incoming mail directly from the the 'new mail arrived' pop up box
by clicking the YES button for the read now function. I can only open the
mail by going to the mail box and opening from it there. I have recently
changed from POP3 to IMAP Mail Servers which might explain. Can anyone advise
of a fix.

Do you have Outlook 2000 configured in Internet Mail Only mode or
Corporate/Workgroup mode?
