I now have Outlook 2007 and am trying to open an Outlook Data File that was
created in Outlook 2003. I get the message: "File Access Denied. You do not
have the permission required to access the file." Has anyone a solution to
this problem?

Move the file to somewhere where you DO have permissions? Is this file on a
CD/DVD?

The file is on my hard drive. Why wouldn't I have permission to access it and
how do I know what I have access to? I've never encountered such a thing.

Your question provided the answer. It was in the wrong place. I was now able
to access it and all is well. Thank you. I'd still like to know why I
didn't have permission to a file on my own computer of which I am the
Administrator.
