Hi,

The red X indicates that MM2 can no longer locate the
video file that was previously imported into your
project. This could be because the file is located on a
floppy disk that is no longer in the drive, or the file
may have been moved to a new directory on your HD, or
maybe the file was accidently deleted.

If you know where the file is located, right click on the
red X clip, and choose browse for missing file to
indicate where the file is located.

it means that the file or files that you used to make the project has been moved or you have moved the project to a different folder. or (worse still, you have deleted it) think back, have you deleted something in your "my videos, my music, my pictures" folder, or have you moved something from those folders around

i'm not exactly a professional and i'm still learning this as well, but when i have the red cross (looks quite scary though doean't it) this is what i do

-put mouse pointer over the red do
-right clic
-go to where it says "browse for missing file
-clic

it should bring it back
if it doesn't, it means you have either moved it to a place where the computer can't find it o
you have deleted it (let's hope this isn't the case

good luc
