i can open attachments but i cant open emails sent as attchments, but when i
forward the mail attchments they can be opened by another user.
i'm using Outlook 2003 and i'm on a corporate LAN.

Know issue caused by Google Desktop Search. Uninstall it or update GDS to
the latest version and try again.

You're likely using Google Desktop Search. Is this application supported by
your systems staff and part of the software supplied with the PC? If not,
there's probably a reason for it.
