I'm on win xp pro - fp 2003 - when I try to open live, the site will open
and folders ect show up in fp, but when I try to open one of the htm files
I get the error

Error retrieving "index.html" - the connection time dout or was aborted by
the server.

what does this mean? and why can't I open live (file/open site/my network
places/www.domainname.com)

thanks!

well, I've never had this problem before - its only since upgrading to
2003 - also - I resell host space, so I'm responsible on that end...but it
should open the files, when I double click on the name? It opens the site,
asks for permission names/password, shows up in front page - just can't get
it to open the durn pages!! I've tried opening the sites from the browser by
clicking on edit/fp - and then opening fp and trying to go that route - both
ways gives me the error below

any help would sure be appreciated! I need to open live!

I maintain about 15 webs - I've tried about half of them - I can 'open' them
live ... just can't get any of the files to open once the site is opened in
fp
