Hi All,

My WinXP_Home & IE6 SP3 work fine all the time. Lately (no known reason!), I
can't open the frequent hyperlinks with javascript. ( eg:
javascriptarent.fnDisplayBasketUpdates(); )

I did uninstalled JAVA, cleared all history & cookies, temporary files and
re-installed with JavaSetup6u17, but still no response when click on any of
the javascript hyperlinks

When I use another PC of same O/S & IE6 with similar JAVA installation and
via same ISP networks, I have no problem to open the same javascripts on
hyperlinks. I re-check all the Internet options settings which are the same
for the two PCs I use.

Any help to solve this problem is appreciated.

Java and JavaScript is not the same programming languages.

You will need Java if you play some on-line games.

If there is a problem with JavaScript URL's not working, keep in mind some
security changes have been implemented to block so called drive by attacks.

Despite the similarity of their names, Java and Javascript are two
different things. Installing one is of no help if you need the other.
