various companies and senders of email have high lighted
items (making it easier to find and/or purchase an item).
Outlook express will no longer open these when clicked on.
Anyone got an answer besides the $35 from Microsoft. I am
currently using ME although I am switching soon to 2000
professional.

1. You click on a hyperlink in and an IE window doesn't even open:

Installing the latest Cumulative Patch for IE may solve the problem as a
side-effect. Check in at Windows Update.
