Hi,

As of last Thursday, I can't open attachments from an AOL address. Since AOL
forwards as attachments, this means I can't read the forward. I don't get an
error message--the forward just doesn't open. I had opened some of them so I
know they're not corrupt. If I forward the message to my Yahoo account, I can
read the forward.

I also can't open a task with attachment. For example, I "copy an email as
attachment" to my task list, which saves the email in the body of the task.
Now, I can't open the task. Same problem as the AOL attachments--I
double-click, and nothing happens.

Obviously this is a problem specific to my computer since I had been able to
open them previously, but I have no idea where to start looking.

Forgot to mention that it's Outlook 2003 and Windows XP.

Yay! Finally got it figured out. There is a known conflict between Google
Desktop 5.5 and Outlook. See here for details:
