Hi,

when I trying to open the form designer in 2008 I get the following error:

The service Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.ISelectionContainer already
exists in the service containter. Parameter name: serviceType

I have installed KB110806-x86 and KB929300-x86, but where to find
KB930264-x86?

How to solve this error?

Any chance you had a beta or RC of VS 2008 installed previously? I ask
because I'm using VS 2008 on x86 Vista without issues.
If you did have a beta or RC installed previously, did you go through the
*complete* uninstall procedure as shown here?

Hi,

I've removed everything what was in the list, but it did'nt help.
Maybe the solution is in the %WINDIR%\assembly where I do find
Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop 3 times.
I can't remove them, no acces, while I be logged in as admin.

why not directly from authentic microsoft site instead of some third party?
that were not the originator?
all you need is the kbnumber and search form www.microsoft.com
