We are having the exact same issue. Sadly using the File > Open > Other
User's Folder is not going to work for us. We need something like the
additional mail box to alert selected individuals of a incoming mail. Well
in our case fax from the faxing service.
I would just send a copy to everyone who would generally see a fax but that
would cause too much use of system resources to send a copy of a fax to
nearly everyone in the office. So a incoming fax is routed to this "Fax"
inbox and those who have delegated access to the "Fax" inbox can access them,
but they also need to be alerted that there is one there.
So after adding that "Fax" inbox like Jerry did, we do get it showing up in
the left navigation window but when trying to click on it we get the error
"Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook cannot access the
specified folder location"
Please tell us how to open the permissions of the root folder like you
mentioned or unless you have another suggestion.
