Hello,

I have this weird issue, happens only on my machine in the domain. I cannot
open any attachments in my mailbox, I receive the error "The Operation
Failed"
The issue started this morning when I came in, didn't really do nothing out
of the ordinary to the Outlook or Exchange settings yesterday. I cannot open
any attachments received today or prior to today.

Here's what I've done so far:

- Ran scanost/scanpst
- Reubild the profile
- Reinstalled the whole Office 2007 Suite

The problem still exists. Any ideas? I'm stumped.

Do you get alot of attachments? Perhaps your temp file is full:

I've done that, this folder had only two files in it, I deleted them and no
luck.

I just installed SP1 for the suite and still can't open the attachments. I
receive the e-mails, everything is normal but not as far as saving
attachments to local drive or opening them. I've sent my e-mails with
attachments to other users on the network, they open them without any
problems.

It started this morning when I got in. I've been using 2007 for about 6
months now and no problems of any sort. I just reinstalled Office for the
second time, still the same. I have no idea what's going on.

Well, I finally got fed up with trying whatever is available on the web
(nothing on MS knowledge base of course) to fix this up. I've re-imaged my
box and guess what, everything is working well.
Must of been some file corruption, I've wasted a whole day on this. I'm
ready for drink!

You can always create a new Outlook profile when in doubt.
