I have a 3 minute piece largley to music, but in two sections with audio from
the video.
I have tried to adjust the balance in each section but cant. Even when I
split the music track and adjust the level in each clip the change affects
the whole film - not just the highlighted clip.
Please help - this is driving me mad!

There are 2 different audio level controls in MM2... one does the overall
balance between the video and audio tracks, and the other applies only to
the volume of the selected clip....

maybe you're not using the one specific to the clip.

What I ended up doing was using the audio/video balance to set the level of
90% audio, then when I wanted to boost the video level I just increased the
volume level of the video clip. This seems very clumsy - is that as good as
it gets?
