I have several PC's on a LAN. I am unable to map any PC's drives to any
other PC. But I can use Run and the remote PC's IP address to open the
remote PC drive. I apologize that this must be a clueless newbie
question. Thank you, --Doug

Doug,

This is a typical problem with Windows Networking. One of the most common
causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or overlooked personal firewall,
or other security component. There are several other possibilities too, and any
might be the cause of your problem. Read this article with an open mind.

For more immediate help, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, so we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):

Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
