It's the other way around. Your camera must be compatible with XP, which
is the responsibility of the camera manufacturer.
If the camera uses a storage card, consider buying an inexpensive reader
for that card type. It will appear as a drive letter, and the pics that
the card contains can be handled just as any other files would be...moved,
copied, viewed, etc.
For image categorizing, various commercial programs are available. Or try
the free Irfanview from
http://www.irfanview.com.
The camera probably came with a basic image manipulation program which, if
it's a recent release, should run on XP.
