Can't Login

I need to use Windows Messenger for online billpay Passport function in MS Money. My new machine has XP Home Edition and I cannot login at all. Researching the help files is no good. I can't seam to find out what is wrong. Messenger web site says the service is active. My XP Proffesional machine will let me log in fine. I have tested the userid and password on the passport site and it is fine. any help? Bob
