I have just upgraded all my machines to Win XP pro and FP 2003.

I am not able to log into my local network production server with FP
2003. Although I can login from the local machine.

When I hit with a browser there is no problem. I can view the
default home page that I created.

But, when I click the edit button, or when I open FP and do a File /
Open Web I am prompted for a username and password. I always get
prompted with User name: Machinename/Guest greyed out in the username
box that i can't change. I can enter info in password field but that
means nothing since the username is locked to Machinename/Guest

Help!

Fixed the problem.

Needed to add IUSR to permissions group. Simple oversight I guess.
The fun part was trying to find access to the security tab in WinXP.
Love how MS feeles the need to make us go on hunts from one version of
Windows to another.
