Can't login after install any app

I have w2k with novell 4.9 sp2 and network 4.11, my problem is after
install any app like office or antivirus , i restart my pc after the
instalation and cannot login again. A Windows Security Message apper,
dialog that states "Unexpected Login". And a admin need to boot in safe
mode for reinstall de novell client. can somebody tell me what is wrong?
