Ever since I did my updates for Windows XP and Nortons I have not been able t
sign into MSN Messenger I can go to my hotmail via the web, and also through
my Microsoft Outlook
The error message reads cannot connect, check internet connection. 0x8100030
I try to trouble shoot "HELP" and the page comes back invalid
I have turned off both firewalls, Windows XP & Tiny, and still it does not connect.
I have removed MSN Messenger from my computer along with removing th
registry settings and installed newer 6.2 version only to have the very same erro
message
Lastly, I have tried using a proxy to connect and the same message comes back
even after the proxy tested ok for connection _ON_ MSN Messenge
I tested this problem on two other machines, both running Windows XP along wit
Nortons Antivirus, and Tiny Personal Firewall and the same result has came back
The last thing that all three messages had done was a critical update for Windows XP
Please advise.
