Can't load win xp

Please can some one tell me what the probleam could be,
i have a Asus A7V600 BOARD + 3200 amd athlone cpu +
256 ddr 3200 memory + gainward fx 256 mb ddr , i can run
98se and 2000 pro but the pc crash when i start winxp
istallation at the loadind hardware point.
I have chaged the HD and Video card and i am using the
correct memory for the mother board any ideas Please

Some motherboards require an BIOS update in order to allow XP to
install/run. Make sure that the latest BIOS update is done!

If upgrading the BIOS as suggested elsewhere in this thread doesn't resolve
it, reinstall one of you previous operating systems, place the XP CD in the
drive, when the setup screen appears, select "Check system compatibility,"
this may point to a problem area on your setup that might be the source of
the issue.
