Did you clear the files again??

Also, are you running yahoo IM on the machine??
If so shut it down as it uses port 80 for it's
file sharing feature.

I cleared all of the files again, just as I had the other
day when it seemed to resolve the problem, but no such
luck today. Also no IM programs loaded +/or running what
so ever. Any other suggestions?

Close Internet Explorer.
right click the E icon on the desktop.
Select Properties.
Click the Programs Tab
Click "Reset my Web Settings" and uncheck
the box for "Reset my homepage" when it pops up.

Click Ok, and Ok or Apply to close the panel.

Relaunch Internet Explorer.

Also, although you can open FrontPage by clicking Edit
in Internet Explorer, it is much better to launch FrontPage
and then select File > Open web to edit your pages.

When you edit by using IE to open FrontPage, it does
not open the web. Therefore FrontPage can't maintain
it's inventory of files and their update dates, and if you ever
need to republish the web you will have problems.

Well the reset suggestion did not make a difference. I
cannot view our website via IE and am still unable to pull
it up after launching FP and trying to open it. Any other
ideas? What is this Port 80 business?

web site "servers" send data to your
computer using port 80 on the server.

FrontPage uses port 80 on a client machine
( your machine ) to communicate with a http server
port 80. Servers can have multiple instances of port 80
open so they can be accessed by more than one visitor
or client.

Internet Explorer on the other hand connects to multiple
instances of port 80 on the server using randomly assigned
ports from the client machine ( this is for security reasons )

You can view these connections by clicking Start then Run,
typing cmd and pressing enter.
Then type netstat -an and press enter.

A listing of the computers current connections will show.
It may also show you if port 80 is being used. If so
it will be under the "local address" listing and look like
an IP address:
123.123.123.123:80 with 80 signifying the port

Are you able to get to any other web site via IE from the machines with this
specific problem as well as others in your office, etc.?

Yes I have thought of that too. I have gone to websites
that I are known to have never been visited before and I
have no trouble accessing them. This problem is beyond me.

I would go into a command prompt and try pinging your site.
Get the IP address from that and see if you can open your
site that way. If you cant get it that way then on a
machine than can view the site try pinging from there and
compare IPs. Try that second IP address in your browser.
