As topic says. Is there no way to use my Outlook XP (2002) in Windows Vista
without upgrading to Outlook 2007? Vista apparently uses IE7 and removes
Outlook Express instead using Microsoft Mail. When I click on Outlook XP, it
says I can't load it without Outlook Express. I have searched and searched
and no one else is even mentioning this problem. Any help?

I ran into the same issue. Then I applied the trick described in the
following thread:

It did the trick as far as launching Outlook 2002

Open the registry Key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed
Components\{44BBA840-CC51-11CF-AAFA-00AA00B6015C}

(on my XP there was 3, choose the one with value "Version" related to
Outlook Express)

Modify/Create the Value as detailed below.
Data Type: DWORD
Value Name: IsInstalled
Value Data: 1

Thanks, it worked!!! I appreciate your help. I don't want to drop the $250
for Office 2007 quite yet. I don't use it for anything but the occassional
letter and email.
