Can't load my Desktop after Windows started

's Computer Specifications

I used WindowsXP Home edition. I can't figure out why my
desktop can't be loaded after the Windows started. I can
only run programs form "Task Manager" within the blank
green windows logo screen.
So frastrated. Can anybody help please?

Try the "Restore Desktop Icons and Taskbar" fix available from here:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
(Line 195, right-hand column)
