Can't load certain pages

IE won't load certain pages, like those with .aspx, so there are certain
sites that I can't view properly i.e. gifs won't load etc.. I've been to the
site's tech help and they say I must have jave enabled, delete temp files
etc., I've done all that, but still the page won't load.

does anybody have any explanation as to why that would happen and what I
could do to rectify it., I never had the problem with my old 'puter.
