can't load any games

's Computer Specifications

yesterday my computer stopped loading any games...like halo, ut2004, and america's army, each game brings up a different error. the day before i downloaded some XP updates, i thought this might be why...can anyone help?

Are you getting any error messages? Have you run your anti-virus with the
latest definitions?

ya...i've tried updating my virus definitions and scanning a few times. i had a trojan but i got rid of it.
