Just downloaded beta version. When I ltry to aunch, a get
a box stating that this version expires Dec 31, 05 and
redirects to download an update. I checked system clock
and it's fine. Any ideas?

You'll need to drill down in the custom settings for your locale, locate the
long and short date formats, and reset both of these to the default
settings, which I take to be the topmost settings in the dropdown box.
