Hallo,

I can't install windows 2000 professional. When I've many
times started setup from CD for installing windows. When
all drivers were initialized. I've got this error message:

INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE 0x0000007B
(ox9863848,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)

My system: ami bios build in jul 1995 no ACPI support,
Pentium 200 MMX, 40 mb edo ram, HDD 2,5GB and ATAPI CD-ROM
on same IDE cable, S3 Virge DX graphic, motherboard hsing
m559 with vx pro II chip-set.

Note: I tryed to install it from hdd - the same!

First thing, you'll want to check the HCL at
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000...at/default.asp
then check the pc, mb, or bios manufacturer's web site for an updated bios.

I think you'll find yr sys is below min requirements to run win2k

Note memory and free space required

For starters, anything NT doesn't behave well with EDO ram and the other
hardware specs won't comply either. I'ld strongly recommend that W2K not be
installed here.
