Hi
This is my first mail on this newsgroup.
My problem is that vaious programs and drivers will no longer install on XP
Home SP2 danish (with latest updates)
Error message is: corrupt cabinet files - crc errors and more.
It is programs like ActiveSync 4.0 + 4.2, Logitech remote Harmony update -
Adobe Acrobat update and Live Messenger and others (office 2003 and Corel D
12 installed without problems)
The software have worked earlier, so the errormessages I gues must be wrong.
Have disabled my Norton Internet Security and virusscanning, and nVidia
firewall, but still the same errormessages.
Does anyone know what to do about this.
Tried changing RAM - and disabled the potection of running data in the
boot.ini file.
Will a reinstall (upgrade) of XP help? and vill this require reinstall of
programs and drivers?
Please aadvise
Sincerely
Hans J. Hansen
