I went to the site and followed the instructions for Testing the the Ntvdm
subsystem using command.com. The command prompt window opened.
I also used my windows xp disk and did a system repair. To do this I had to
change the the bios to make the computer start up from the CD drive. I have
changed it back to the original settings and tried to install Paint Shop Pro
9. Still get the same error message.
