Have your tried downloading the newest drivers for XP from FujiFilm's
website? If the Card Reader is "older", the drivers may not have existed
for XP when it was released. Most manufacturers post driver updates to
their websites.

>I just purchased a new pc with Windows XP Home...I think I'm regretting it
now!
I have a FujiFilm FinePix 2650 SmartCard Reader that XP will not let me
install.
I get a message telling me that this hardward has not past the microsoft
compatility test.
It does give me the option to continue to install, but even when I choose
to do so, it give me
an error that there is a problem with this device. Any advice on what to do
to get the smartcard
installed.
