Hello

I cannot install rollercoaster 3. I had it installed on my computer
before and played it all the time. For one reason or another I had
uninstalled it. I've been trying to install it for the past few hours
and can't - it crashes. When I click on install it starts to install
for 2.5 seconds and then freezes and crashes. If I go into the cd and
go to setup, it crashes at the same spot. Instasheild or something like
that. It just starts and then freezes. It's driving me insane. No one
on any troubleshooting website seems to have this problem.

Can Anyone Help Please!

Hi Marina,

Let's try a couple of things to get that working for you:

1. Startup your system in SAFE MODE by pressing F8 repeatedly
while your system is booting up after you've shut down your system

2. Log in with an account you've created as a "Computer Administrator"
account that you'll use to play the game, but don't use a Limited account.

Unfortunatly that didn't work. I believe it's a problem with my install
sheild. I tried uninstalling another game and it did the same thing as
well. I was able to install rtc 3 with no prob on my brothers computer.
I went to the installsheild wizard website and did the upgrade - but
that didn't help.

Hi Marina,

Although Installshiels and the Windows Installer are two different
packages, the cleanup utility described in this article has been known
to correct problems which can affect both installation packages:
