I have a problem with installing a printer. I have tried local and network
printers.
When I wan't to install a printer I get the error message, that the
"Operation could not be completed". The printer spooler servive and the RPC
service are startet, I also tried to restart them. I use the XPPro Emulation
component from xpefiles.com.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

Using XPProEmulation doesn't prove you've got all "platform" dependencies in your image. XPProEmulation is only responsible for the
software component stack.

However, all the class installers are in that image, including the Printers.

You should get more information about the install failure from \Windows\SetupApi.log file.
You can clean up the file before the installation. Then the log will contain only the installation related entries which you can
post here.
