can't install a piece of software

Hi

I run Windows XP Home edition:

I have a Safecom bluetooth dongle (SBTC 1010) which has installed Blue
Soleil software. I am trying to uninstall the software but I can't do it in
Add Remove programmes or by using the uninstall.exe facility on the CD that
came with the dongle.

Yhe manufacturers have told me it's a Windows fault. Has anyone else had
this problem or can anyone suggest a way of uninstalling the software without
having to perform a system restore (I've had this software on my pc for many
weeks).
