I've been through so many of these messages and feel I may be getting closer
to the solution, but my computer is telling me that I cannot remove Defender
beta 2 because the temp installation file windowsdefender[1].msi is not to be
found. It then tells me the file may have already been deleted but there is
no action I can take from that point. I'm stuck. In a previous question, a
very knowledgeable character named Engel mentioned something about Office
2003....is this pertinent? Please help.

Whatever you do, (installing and updateting or unistalling) always as a
administrator.
